Alanbrae drawing plenty of buyer interest

Once again this week we saw further evidence of the determination of home buyers to continue to chase their property dreams despite the restrictions of the lockdown.

Whilst our SOLD signs were going up in a wide variety of locations around the City of Hume, and on a variety of property types, one spot that certainly attracted plenty of interest from buyers was the Alanbrae Estate in Attwood.

In fact, we saw two homes successfully sold through off-market sales campaigns in the Alanbrae Estate in the past week alone. In Stonebridge Way, a street where we’ve had several outstanding sales results in recent months, a single-level four-bedroom Federation-style home found new owners for just over the $1 million-mark, whilst over in Alanbrae Terrace, a two-storey home with similar heritage influences saw the contracts inked at $1.2 million.

Mind you, Alanbrae Estate hasn’t been the only place we’ve seen strong buyer interest lately. For example, the team has put together two terrific sales in Greenvale in recent days. One was on a single-level four-bedroom home just a few steps from the Reserve in Kirkham Drive. That one enjoyed a strong mid-week sale at $841,000. Meanwhile, across in Clare Boulevard overlooking the Yuroke Creek parklands across the street, a generously proportioned double-storey home with four bedrooms and a home office achieved a very satisfying sale well before this week's scheduled auction at $945,000. As you can see from the photo, it was a result that produced plenty of smiles just before the restrictions came into effect.

Another result that proved the lockdown is not an insurmountable obstacle was the sale of a three-bedroom home in Sharps Road, Tullamarine that attracted plenty of interest from market entrants and investors. The SOLD sticker went up on that one for $682,000.

At the moment, none of us is too sure of when the current lockdown restrictions will begin to ease. However, we would strongly recommend that if you are planning on selling in the remainder of 2021, there is still plenty that you can be doing right now to ensure you hit the ground running as soon as the door begins to open. So don’t hesitate to give us a call this week at Barry Plant Gladstone Park if you’d like to chat about your options. Just call 9330 1088.
