Once again this week we’ve seen further confirmation that the strong demand from homebuyers in the City of Hume looks set to carry right through the festive season and into the new year.

Not only did our team achieve yet another 100% auction success rate for our vendors this week with all five scheduled auctions finding terrific conclusions to their campaigns, but several other vendors achieved excellent sales through a variety of other marketing methods as well.

Some of the more recent results included:

Attwood: 26 Threadneedle Street. Situated in the highly regarded Cambridge Estate, this striking five-bedroom home achieved a great result after an early offer convinced our vendors not to wait for auction day.

Greenvale: 51 Perugia Avenue. This neat three-bedroom home a short stroll from Aitken College saw four bidders push the price to a very satisfying $633,000.

Greenvale: 23 Avisha Way. A remarkable 42 bids took this four-bedroom home in Greenvale Gardens all the way to $715,000…more than 20% above out ecstatic vendor’s reserve price!

Greenvale: 27 Adderley Drive. Highlighted by a touch of Federation styling, this eye-catching four-bedroom home benefitted from some competitive mid-week negotiations, selling for $840,000.

Greenvale: 32 Carat Street. A digital marketing campaign that got everyone talking certainly had an impact, as this striking four-bedroom home in the exclusive Greenvale Somers Estate soared more than $100,000 above reserve in selling for $1.125 million. As you can see from the photo, everyone was thrilled with the result.

Westmeadows: 86 Erinbank Crescent. A mix of renovators, investors and first-time buyers all showed interest in this potential-filled three-bedroom home. So much so, in fact, that the SOLD sticker went up prior to the auction after an early offer of $525,000 sealed the deal.

Of course, if you haven’t yet secured your next home, don’t despair. We still have some fantastic properties available for inspection prior to Christmas. You’ll find all the details by CLICKING HERE...

Of course, if you are considering selling in the New Year and don’t want to miss out on the strong demand from buyers in the City of Hume, don’t hesitate to give us a call at Barry Plant Gladstone Park this week on 9330 1088.

Best wishes,
