We saw more evidence of this during the week, with buyer activity being particularly strong in the $1 million to $2 million bracket, following on from last week’s exciting results in Positano Grove and Dunbar Court in Greenvale.

Standing proudly above one of Attwood’s most highly regarded boulevards, this impressive double-storey home of five bedrooms plus a home office, and three bathrooms certainly made an impact on all who visited, not the least because of its serene outlook over the parkland across the street. A well-planned and carefully managed auction campaign came to a head on Saturday with the gavel falling at $1.275 million. As you can see from the photo, the new owners are looking forward to moving day with real excitement.

Greenvale: 3 Maton Street. This lavish display home in the award-winning Maples Estate attracted plenty of interest from upgrading locals keen to enjoy the quality that a respected builder puts into their own showpiece. So strong was the interest, in fact, that a convincing early offer saw the SOLD sign go up before this week’s scheduled auction, with the deal being negotiated at $1.7 million.

Greenvale: 5 Maton Street. A second display home, situated right next door to the property above, offered a touch of Hamptons style glamour in this sought after location. Productive negotiations on auction day saw the keys change hands on this one at $1.315 million.
