Once again this week, we saw multiple sales results that confirmed the underlying confidence of homebuyers in the local property market in the City of Hume, with a particular emphasis this week on property sales in the $1 million-plus range.

Not only was our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park able to achieve another 100 per cent auction success rate for our vendors, but several other notable sales were completed through some productive mid-week negotiations as well.

Among our most recent results were:

Attwood: 8 Tattenham Court. This architecturally intriguing double-storey home overlooking parklands certainly got people talking the moment it hit the market, so it was no surprise to see offers being made well before the scheduled auction. The contracts were inked at an impressive $1.23 million.

Attwood: 17 Stonebridge Way. It’s hard to know which aspect of this property (pictured) had the biggest impact on buyers, the expansive five-bedroom floorplan; the resort-style outdoor living zone; or the position overlooking the lake in the reserve across the street! Either way, a well-planned auction campaign saw it sell above reserve at $1.51 million.

Greenvale: 56 Greenvale Drive. This thoughtfully updated four-bedroom home made a strong impact on families, particularly those who love to entertain, with its expansive outdoor living zone and pool proving popular. Competitive interest saw the SOLD sign go up at $1 million.

Mickleham: 27 Sesame Street. This brand new four-bedroom home set in easy maintenance gardens in the Botanical Estate was sold after productive mid-week negotiations produced a strong sale at $810,000.

Westmeadows: 29 Ninda Court. As we reported a few weeks ago, this four-bedroom home attracted so much early interest that the vendors decided to accept a convincing pre-auction offer of $665,000 rather than waiting for this week’s scheduled auction.

As you can see, buyers are still very keen to secure a home in the City of Hume if the opportunity is available to them. So if you’re still keen to make a move, don’t hesitate to give us a call this week at Barry Plant Gladstone Park on 9330 1088 for an obligation-free chat.

Cheers,
