Buyers are flocking to Attwood

If you’re a regular reader of these posts, you’ll already be aware that our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park has been generating strong buyer interest in almost every suburb in our part of the City of Hume.

However, one trend we have been noticing recently is that the level of buyer interest in specific areas like Attwood, and the Cambridge Gardens Estate in particular, has gone up an extra gear over the past six months or so.

As many people will remember, it was only a couple of months ago that our team set A NEW PRICE RECORD FOR A HOME IN THE CAMBRIDGE GARDENS ESTATE, and we have continued to experience very strong buyer demand in this area since.

The latest example of this occurred during the week when a well-built single-level four-bedroom home at 19 Trumpington Grove, (pictured), generated such strong interest that the vendors decided to accept a very convincing early offer of $870,000 rather than waiting for the scheduled auction which was due to be conducted on February 22nd.

Built around 13 years ago and offered in largely original condition, this property provided an interesting demonstration of just how much the market in Attwood has stepped up in the face of growing buyer awareness. Our vendors had purchased the home in 2016 for a bit under $640,000, so that’s a pretty good return in under four years!

Key factors that many of the buyers who inspected the home commented on included the his’n’hers walk-in wardrobes, the large pantry in the kitchen, the accommodating main living zone and the flexibility offered by a separate rumpus or home theatre room.

Results like this one have further confirmed our position as the real estate agent to turn to when you want to maximise your result when selling a property in Attwood, or any of the adjoining suburbs in this area. So, if you are considering selling, and looking for any advice or assistance that can really make a difference to your end result, be sure to give one of our team a call on 9330 1088.

Regards,

Nick Pugliese – Director
