Every so often you’ll see buyer activity stepping up a level in one particular suburb or estate, with buyers showing a clear desire to make this address their own as soon as possible.

This week it seems it was Greenvale’s turn in the spotlight, with several outstanding sales being achieved buy our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park, bot through competitive one-on-one negotiations and in the open competition of an auction.

Here’s a summary of some of these recent results:

Greenvale: 68 Clare Boulevard. The Shannon Rise Estate has always been well regarded in the Greenvale area, so the opportunity to secure one of the last remaining vacant blocks proved a popular one, particularly with over 680sqm of land with an 18 metre frontage. Productive mid-week negotiations saw the SOLD sign go up at $690,000.

Greenvale: 103 Kirkham Drive. Offering an unusual Tuscan element to its styling and positioned opposite parkland, this eye-catching five-bedroom home attracted plenty of interest from local families looking to upgrade. A well-planned auction campaign saw the gavel fall above reserve at $1.12 million.

Greenvale: 1 Stirling Close. Set on an expansive allotment of around 2261sqm, (that’s over half an acre in the old scale), in a quiet court close to Greenvale shops and Primary School, this architect-designed four-bedroom home with a pool had several buyers comparing it to their favourite holiday resort. A big crowd turned out to watch a highly competitive auction which pushed the price all the way to $1.45 million, more than 10 percent above our ecstatic vendor’s reserve. As you can see from the Don’t forget that our team is ready and able to assist you with all of your property questions in the lead-up to the Easter weekend, so feel free to give us a call at Barry Plant Gladstone Park this week on 9330 1088.
