Buyers still have Spring in their step
One look at your calendar will tell you that we are rapidly approaching the official end of the ‘Spring market’ for 2023.
Having said that, however, we are still seeing Spring-strength buyer activity in the City of Hume, with several outstanding results being achieved recently by our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park. Some of our team’s recent success stories have included:
Greenvale: 8 Silverwood Drive. This modern three-bedroom, two-bathroom home attracted interest from good numbers of market entrants and investors the moment it hit the market. This early interest produced a real sense of competition among multiple buyers, resulting in a pleasing sale being inked at $633,000 prior to this week’s scheduled auction.
Westmeadows: 9 Hopetoun Court. Offering easy access to schools and shops, this four-bedroom home drew multiple enquiries from buyers keen to explore the possibilities of future enhancements in this convenient spot. The keys changed hands during the week after productive post-auction negotiations.
Westmeadows: 13 Lima Court. A well-established garden setting on a huge block of around 900sqm added to the appeal of this three-bedroom home, as did the quiet court setting. There was strong interest from several young families before the SOLD sign went up prior to the scheduled auction at $700,000 (pictured).
Perhaps the most important lesson to emerge from strong results in the local property market like these is that experienced local insights and hands-on experience can make a big difference to your result in the current market. So if you are reviewing your property plans, (whether for this year or next), don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park.
