Four out of four shows the value of experience

Whilst some of the more inexperienced agents around Melbourne seem to have gone into panic-mode in recent weeks, our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park once again proved the value of years of experience in the local property market, with four out of four auctions this week selling successfully.

Whilst our team remains focused on continuing to achieve outstanding results for our vendors, we have taken a number of steps to ensure the safety of the public and out staff. As you can see from the photo of Michael Sassine and our vendors from South Circular Road in Gladstone Park, celebrating a successful sale now seems to involve elbow bumps rather than shaking hands!

Among our recent success stories were:

Gladstone Park: 81 South Circular Road

A mix of timeless character and tasteful renovations, including an attractive kitchen where a mix of stainless steel and stone made a real impact on buyers, enhanced the appeal of this centrally positioned three-bedroom home. A successful auction campaign saw the gavel fall at $650,000.

Greenvale: 17 Marquee Court

One of the rising stars of our sales team, Ghizlaine Digby, set yet another local sales record with the sale of this stunning two-year-old double-storey home. In fact, Ghizlaine has broken the last three price records in succession set in the Umbra Estate, with this latest sale being inked prior to the scheduled auction at an extraordinary $1.28 million!

Roxburgh Park: 10 Merrigan Court

Offered for sale for the first time in 25 years, this appealing single-level three-bedroom home had plenty of street appeal from the moment buyers pulled up out the front. Strong interest from multiple buyers saw this sell at auction for a very pleasing $570,000.

Westmeadows: 14/309 Mickleham Road

A mix of first home buyers, investors and few local downsizers all showed interest in this three-bedroom townhouse situated opposite Fawkner Street Shopping Village. So strong was the interest, in fact, that the SOLD sticker went up prior to the auction after our vendors decided to accept a convincing early offer.

The fact is that anyone considering making a move in the current market can be confident that a great result is still possible when you have an experienced team of property professionals working on your behalf. If you are keen to make the most of the opportunities that the current market conditions are providing, you can give the team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park a call today on 9330 1088.

Cheers,

Nick Pugliese – Director
