From a broader perspective, it seems that every time we pick up a newspaper we are seeing more stories about the likelihood of further cuts to official interest rates by the Reserve Bank. In fact, it seems that financial commentators are becoming more confident about a rate cut, the debate seems to be more about whether it will happen before or after the election. Either way, it sounds like good news for home buyers, as well as anyone who already has a mortgage.

Of course, the good news hasn’t been restricted just to the buyers either, with several strong sales being achieved by the team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park. One of these involved the 3-year-old contemporary home in Greenvale’s popular Aspect estate pictured above. Attracting interest from a mix of first home buyers and investors, 22 Amira Road brought good news for our vendors when a strong mid-week sale was completed at $550,000.
