Greenvale confirmed as a ‘hot spot’

After regularly reporting over the past few months about the build-up of buyer demand for property in the City of Hume, and our forecasts of what would happen as soon as buyers were allowed to physically inspect local homes for sale, it’s been fascinating to watch those predictions become a reality over the past few weeks.

Other than the flood of phone calls and emails from buyers wanting to make appointments to inspect properties, the willingness of buyers to make quick decisions and solid offers on the available listings has been striking. It’s good news for anyone thinking of selling this Spring, and even better news if you happen to own a property in Greenvale, as our recent results confirm.

In the past few weeks alone, our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park has negotiated some remarkable sales results for our vendors, including:

Greenvale: 21 Lucy Crescent. This affordable four-bedroom home sold privately for $520,000.

Greenvale: 66 Frontier Avenue. Enjoying a prominent corner position, this three-bedroom home sold for $607,500.

Gowanbrae: 23 Duranta Street. This contemporary three-level town residence sold prior to auction for a very pleasing $620,000.

Greenvale: 4 Emily Street. Just five years young, this single-level four-bedroom home was another to find new owners prior to the scheduled auction.

Greenvale: 62 Greenvale Drive. Moments from the shopping centre, this pretty three-bedroom home (pictured) sold within a week for $700,000.

Greenvale: 13 San Marco Road. This was another pre-auction success story, with our happy vendors achieving a pleasing $780,000.

Greenvale: 15 Greenhaven Drive. This highly appealing two-storey home in the popular Umbra Estate saw the contracts inked at $800,000.

Greenvale: 16 Edara Circuit. A highly effective off-market campaign produced a strong sale at $867,000 for this five-bedroom executive home.

Greenvale: 33 Greenhaven Drive. Our second strong result in this attractive Umbra Estate address saw the SOLD sign go up at $910,000.

Greenvale: 12 Berwick Place. Beautifully updated and luxuriously finished, this impressive four-bedroom entertainer saw the SOLD sign go up within a week of hitting the market.

With another NINE PROPERTY SALES still to be finalised this week, it’s fair to say that it’s a great time to be a seller in this area right now. So if you’re keen to make a move, be sure to give our team a call this week on 9330 1088 to discuss your options. Of course, you can call me direct any time on 0418 889 678.
