Clearly, the home in question was no ordinary property, and a massive crowd turned out to watch this much anticipated property go under the hammer.

In a clear sign of the effectiveness of our marketing campaign, the opening bid was an impressive $2.2 million, which immediately had the property ‘on the market’ and ready to be sold. However, that was just the opening shot in a spirited bidding duel, with bullish bids of $50,000 and $20,000 flying back and forth before the gavel fell at $2.6 million.

As you might imagine, our vendors were over the moon with this phenomenal result (as the photo shows).

Mind you, it’s not just Greenvale that is seeing results that exceed expectations at the moment. Our auction of a Victorian-influenced five-bedroom home in Stonebridge Way, Attwood also attracted a big crowd this weekend. The gavel fell at a very satisfying $1.28 million…a result that also exceeded expectations.
