It’s not just the Daicos boys ‘selling Candy’!

For all those Collingwood supporters, and footy followers generally, we hope your fingernails are recovering after Friday night’s Preliminary Final and your heart rate is returning to normal levels.

For those who have been enjoying watching the two sons of Peter Daicos showing off their remarkable skill set, including their ability to “sell some candy” in order to wrong-foot their opponents, we saw a recent sale in Greenvale that had us reaching for comparisons…it was the campaign for 55 Candy Road in Greenvale, (pictured).

Just like the Daicos boys, this stunning five-bedroom, three-bathroom home had people reaching for superlatives from the moment it hit the market, and it didn’t disappoint when people had the opportunity to view the full range of attractions in person.

Set on a coveted corner block close to Greenvale Village, Aitken College, parks and more, it was certainly a property that showed off the benefits of making the most of a strong position…sound familiar?

Originally scheduled for auction in October, after the noise of the Grand Final has eased, this home attracted such strong early interest that our vendors decided to sound the final siren a few weeks early, with the SOLD sticker going up this week at $1.1 million…which, funny enough, is probably close to what each of the Daicos boys are worth to the Pies!

The important message for local homeowners, whether you’re a Collingwood support or not, is that with the football set to come to a conclusion this week, (unless there’s a draw of course), the peak period of the Spring selling season is now on your doorstep. So if you’d like to find out just how much more your current home could be worth with the right people looking after your campaign, feel free to give us a call at Barry Plant Gladstone Park this week on 9330 1088.

Best wishes,
