Local homeowners enjoy another 100% result
The Spring property market in the City of Hume continues to produce some outstanding sales results for local homeowners with our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park producing another 100% auction success rate this week.
Perhaps the result that best demonstrates what is happening in our local market involved the sale of a potential-packed three-bedroom home at 3 Haig Place, Attwood.
This three-bedroom home was situated on a good sized block of around 675 sqm with an impressive frontage of around 27 metres, so it was clear from Day One that it would have appeal for those buyers looking to build a new home in the area.
However, equally appealing for young families was the family-friendly court location with Attwood Creek Reserve and Westmeadows Primary School close by. Add in the scope for a contemporary renovation, and you had a property with broad appeal in a price range with appeal for first home buyers.
Saturday’s auction proved what is possible with competitive buyer interest and experienced management of negotiations, with some initial hesitation from buyers during the auction becoming productive activity immediately after. Having been initially passed in at $610,000, or team went to work to produce an outstanding sale at $680,000 immediately after.
A great result all round.
Just keep in mind that, as I mentioned in last week’s post, time is becoming a crucial factor in planning a move in the Spring market, with the arrival of November now just a matter of days away. So if you’d like an obligation-free chat about what is possible in the current positive selling conditions, give us a call this week at Barry Plant Gladstone Park on 9330 1088.
