If ever you needed a sure sign of the impact of strong buyer demand in our part of the City of Hume, and just how much this market has changed in recent years, it’s the fact that this week our team at Barry Plant Gladstone achieved more sales above the $1 million mark than they did below it.

That’s a really positive sign for anyone who is keen to sell before the end of the year!

Here’s a cross-section of some of our recent results:

Attwood: 5 Maddingley Road. The Federation-influenced design of this four-bedroom home in Cambridge Gardens drew an immediate reaction the moment it hit the market, with the SOLD sign going up during the week at $1.215 million.

Attwood: 9 Marjon Court. This striking example of contemporary architecture was another member of the Cambridge Gardens community to attract plenty of attention. A prompt pre-auction sale was negotiated this week at $1.3 million.

Greenvale: 6 Mietta Terrace. This modern single-level home made an impact with its functional three-bedroom design, with the keys changing hands during the week at $740,000.

Greenvale: 1 Haddington Crescent. A highly sought-after address, a big block of over 1600sqm, and a unique five-bedroom home proved a compelling combination when this one found new owners during the week at $1.5 million.

Tullamarine: 39/1 Millar Road. An accommodating two-bedroom floorplan made this neat villa a popular pick among first home buyers and investors. A very pleasing mid-week sale was the result.

Westmeadows: 3/11 Patho Court. A total of twelve separate buyer registered for this week’s auction of this three-bedroom home at the head of a quiet court near Broadmeadows Valley Park. After more than 35 bids, the gavel fell at $630,000, more than 10 per cent over the reserve (pictured).

Make no mistake, whilst the end of the year is getting closer, there is still time for you to buy, sell or both before Santa arrives. So, if you need any assistance or guidance, feel free to give us a call this week at Barry Plant Gladstone Park on 9330 1088.

Cheers,

Nick Pugliese - Sales Director
