One of the things we love about the property market in the City of Hume is that it offers such a wide variety of property sizes and styles, meeting the needs of buyers with a wide variety of preferences.

In fact, you’ve only got to look at a few of our recent sales results, to see how this works…

For example, this week we were scheduled to auction a four-bedroom, two-bathroom semi-detached home on a low maintenance allotment in Caddington Lane, Mickleham. Combining a comfortable family floorplan and an easy-care block, this property attracted interest from a range of buyers including first timers and investors, with the SOLD sign going up on auction day.

At the other end of the block-size spectrum, an enormous vacant homesite of around 1820sqm of land, (not far short of half an acre in the old scale), that offered a leafy green court setting and restful views drew interest from a number of families looking to build a grand luxury estate with room for a pool and more. The block in Lynton Court in Greenvale sold after productive mid-week negotiations saw the contracts inked at $690,000.

Meanwhile, over in Attwood’s coveted Alanbrae Estate, the launch of the campaign for a substantial double-storey four-bedroom home in Willowbank Way, a stone’s throw from Attwood Creek Reserve, drew a swift and determined response from multiple buyers. Competitive negotiations with several highly motivated buyers produced a strong early sale at $1.3 million.

The important thing to keep in mind if you’re considering making a move this year, (as I’ve mentioned a couple of times recently), is that the clock is now running on the prime selling time left in Spring. So if you’re interested in finding out how much your own place could achieve in the current market conditions, you can give us a call at Barry Plant Gladstone Park this week on 9330 1088.
