Whether it’s a desire to secure their next home before the election scaremongering becomes too noisy, a desire to lock-in their next home loan before the talk of interest rate rises becomes a distraction, or simply a response to the glorious Autumn sunshine, the buyers have been busy in the City of Hume recently.

In yet another sign of the ongoing strength of demand for property in this part of Melbourne, we’ve seen some outstanding sales results being completed, both at auction and through competitive negotiation.

Our most recent results have included:

Craigieburn: 130 Bridgewater Road. This entry-level three-bedroom home on around 650sqm of land attracted interest from first home buyers and investors, selling for $575,000.

Greenvale: 16 Verona Street. This modern single-level four-bedroom home on an easy-care 450sqm block near Napoli Park attracted strong early interest, selling a week before the scheduled auction.

Greenvale: 46 Dunfermline Avenue. Set high in this quiet pocket with views across the Yuroke Creek Reserve, this double-storey three-bedroom home didn’t take long to find new owners, with the deal being done during the week.

Greenvale: 26 Positano Grove. Strategically positioned for a growing family between Napoli Park and Aitken College in the Providence Estate, this four-bedroom home with a pool was a popular option for upgrading families. This week’s auction saw 30 bids placed before the gavel fell at $1.35 million, well above our happy vendor’s reserve. As you can see from the photo, everyone involved seemed very happy with the result.

Greenvale: 18 Dunbar Court. Capturing all the lifestyle benefits of that sought-after Greenvale acre lifestyle, this four-bedroom home on around 4102sqm of land found new owners after competitive mid-week negotiations.

As you can see from these results, the current Autumn market is producing some exceptional sales in all price ranges. If you’re curious about how much more your own property could achieve in today’s market, why not give us a call this week at Barry Plant Gladstone Park on 9330 1088.
