Given the high levels of buyer activity that we have been reporting in the City of Hume throughout the year to date, you won’t be surprised to know that there were lots of frustrated homebuyers in the neighbourhood on Friday after the announcement that property inspections and onsite auctions had been put on hold due to the latest lockdown.

The good news for buyers, of course, is that at this stage the current restrictions are scheduled to end at midnight on Wednesday. Assuming there is no change to this plan, our team will be back in the office on Thursday morning ready to show you through the properties you are keen to inspect, as well as getting straight back into the swing of conducting auctions on Saturday January 20th. If you’d like to see what’s coming up for auction over the next few weeks, you can do that by CLICKING HERE...

Given the pent-up demand in the market right now, we are anticipating a rapid step up in activity in the lead-up to next weekend, so if you are keen to inspect any of the properties we have available, whether it’s an auction or available for private negotiation, I would suggest you keep a close eye on our mid-week Open House times as they become available during the week.

Of course, our team is still working at the moment despite the doors of the office being closed, so you might find it helpful to give one of them a call early in the week to see if you can tentatively book a personal inspection for when the lockdown is lifted.

Our availability to assist you also extends to those who may be making use of the few days break to weigh up whether this is the time to sell up and take the next step in your property journey. So if you’d like an obligation-free update on what your property could achieve, or perhaps some tips on how to maximise you result when you do sell, don’t hesitate to give myself or one of the team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park a call this week.

Cheers,

Nick Pugliese – Director
