Multiple markets driving increasing confidence

When people talk about the property market in the City of Hume, they often overlook the fact that there are several quite distinct markets that impact sales results in this area.

That’s why it is so important that you deal with an agent who understands each and all of the potential groups of buyers for your property before re4leasing it to the market, as it avoids you missing out on a segment of the market that could prove vital to your sale.

We saw several examples of this among our most recent sales results, with first home buyers, investors and upgrading local families all playing a part in some these results.

They included:

Attwood: 16 Tollkeepers Parade. Capturing extensive views from an elevated park-front position near Attwood Creek reserve, this towering double-storey home offered four bedrooms and a home office, making a complete lifestyle solution for a growing family. The contracts were inked during the week at $1.1 million.

Gladstone Park: 1 Bega Court. Sitting on a corner allotment of around 582sqm close to shops and local schools, this updated three-bedroom home attracted strong interest from a mix of first home buyers and investors, some with aspirations of redeveloping the site in the future. The central location saw the SOLD sign go up quickly after productive mid-week negotiations.

Greenvale: 78 Clare Boulevard. Making the most of a lush garden setting in a popular neighbourhood close to the Reservoir, this four-bedroom, two-bathroom home proved the value of professional post-auction negotiations, achieving $900,000.

Greenvale: 13 Topographical Crescent. This brand new single-level four-bedroom home (pictured) in the heart of Satterley’s True North Estate was sold as a major fund-raising effort for My Room Children’s Cancer Charity. Built thanks to Porter Davis and enhanced by over $200,000 worth of upgrades and inclusions, this exciting home came with every possible extra…even a twelve month subscription to Stan! The Barry Plant team sealed the deal with a strong mid-week sale.

Results like these confirm that a strong sale is still entirely possible in the current market, particularly with talk growing of a levelling out of official interest rates in the foreseeable future. So if you’d like to discuss your future plans and options without obligation, you can give our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park a call this week on 9330 1088.
