As many of our regular readers will know, we’ve been talking about the growing confidence among homebuyers in the City of Hume for a while now.

We saw further evidence of this growing trend again this week, with strong buyer activity at many of our Open Houses and enquiry levels at the office being incredibly positive.

Importantly for anyone planning on selling in the near future, this activity is regularly producing excellent sales results, which has been very pleasing news for so many of our happy vendors. In fact, the Barry Plant network achieved another outstanding auction success rate of 88% this week, with thirty-six of our forty-one scheduled auctions successfully sold.

Here’s some examples of our recent activity in the local market:

Attwood: 3 The Crest. Making the most of a sought-after location not far from the Attwood Creek Reserve, this warm and inviting five-bedroom, 3-bathroom home townhouse had buyers remarking on its leafy setting and the obvious appeal for entertainers. Productive mid-week negotiations saw the SOLD sign go up at $712,000.

Greenvale: 1 Castlehill Avenue. Employing a quieter off-market sales strategy focusing on our extensive database of registered buyers, this four-bedroom double-storey home (pictured) achieved an excellent result, with the contracts being inked at $825,000.

Westmeadows: 11 Alvie Court. This appealing entry-level three-bedroom home attracted interest from a mix of first home buyers and investors before the keys changed hands at $545,000.

As we’ve mentioned in previous posts, results like these provide further confirmation of what can be achieved for home sellers in the City of Hume with the right marketing strategy and the right people behind you.

So if you’d like to discuss your options for a productive sale this Autumn, feel free to give our friendly team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park a call this week on 9330 1088.

Regards,
