Whilst our team has been busy achieving some fantastic results for clients right across the City of Hume recently, it seems it was Greenvale’s turn in the spotlight this week with several remarkable sales that certainly got a lot of local homeowners talking.

From well established Greenvale originals to brand new homes, and from compact low maintenance blocks to the acre belt, there were SOLD stickers going up all over the place. Here’s a brief summary of some of the recent results:

Greenvale: Candy Road. Situated in the Somers Estate, a brand new four-bedroom home drew plenty of interest for its flexibility as much as its freshness. Competitive mid-week negotiations saw the SOLD sign go up at $715,000.

Greenvale: Crestwood Road. Just over 2 years young and reflecting a pleasing contemporary ambience, this thoughtfully designed three-bedroom home achieved a quick and impressive sale when the contracts were inked this week at $730,000.

Greenvale: Peak Road. Another property that was offered in ‘as new’ condition, this four-bedroom home featured a family-friendly location with Hilltop Park right across the road. Strong interest from upsizing families soon saw the keys changing hands at $765,000.

Greenvale: Wichill Court. Tucked privately away at the end of a quiet court right around the corner from Greenvale Primary School, the unusual combination of an updated four-bedroom home plus a self-contained bungalow attracted a huge crowd to watch a highly competitive auction on the back garden. In the end it gone down to bids of $500 before the gavel finally fell at a remarkable $1.026 million!

Greenvale: Drummond Street. The result that got everyone in Greenvale’s acre belt talking involved an elevated five-bedroom home with a tennis court and pool in this highly regarded address. With five highly motivated buyers all competing within 48 hours of it hitting the market, this potential-filled home was sold for $1.72 million…well above expectations. That leaves four buyers all around the same price point still looking for a similar property, so if you’re considering selling, give us a call.

Westmeadows: Forman Street. Enjoying a sought-after position in Westmeadows Village, this well-presented double-storey four-bedroom home certainly put a smile on the faces of our vendors when the auction produced an outstanding sale at $856,000.

The key message if you are weighing up whether to make your next move in the property market is that, as I mentioned earlier, each of these sales saw highly motivated buyers missing out, and they are keen to secure their next home as soon as possible.

If you’d like to find out of a quick and profitable sale could be just one inspection away, don’t hesitate to give the team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park a call this week on 9330 1088.

Regards,

Nick Pugliese – Director
