Spring activity brings another 100% result

Once again this week we have further confirmation of the strength of buyer demand for property in the City of Hume this Spring.

Not only was our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park able to achieve another 100 per cent auction success rate for our vendors this week, but we are seeing some remarkable response rates from buyers in all price ranges at the moment, which is great news for anyone planning on selling in the local area before the end of the year.

A brief overview of some of our recent results:

Attwood: 17 Wings Way. This attractively presented four-bedroom single-level home drew an immediate response from the moment it hit the market. As a result of this early interest, our vendors were happy to accept a convincing offer of $990,000 rather than waiting for this week’s auction.

Greenvale: 4 Pirianda Court. A mix of first home buyers and investors showed the strongest early interest in this single-level four-bedroom home in a quiet court just around the corner from Kolbe College. Mid-week negotiations removed the need to an auction, with the keys changing hands at $620,000.

Greenvale: 39 Vermillion Drive. This week’s auction of a four-bedroom home in the Nova Estate produced a very pleasing sale at $695,000. As you can see from the photo, everyone seemed very pleased with the result despite the rain.

Greenvale: 87 Frontier Avenue. This high-set four-bedroom home proved the value of professional post-auction negotiations, with the contracts being inked at $805,000 hot on the heels of last week’s auction.

Tullamarine: 16/112A Mickleham Road. Originally scheduled for auction this weekend, this neat two-bedroom unit saw the SOLD sign go up well before the auctioneer’s gavel was required, selling for $510,000.

Don’t forget, if you’d like an update on what your own property could achieve in the current Spring market, or you’d like some experienced advice on how to get your property ‘buyer ready’ in a timely manner, have a chat with the team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park a call this week on 9330 1088.
