The past few weeks have been a busy time for our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park, and with physical inspections now being reintroduced by private appointment it was no surprise to see the rapid increase in phone enquiries since Thursday, when the first set of eased restrictions was announced.

Among the most recent results our team has achieved, despite the challenges of the lockdown, were:

Gladstone Park: 6 Hoctor Close. A mixture of market entrants and local investors showed immediate interest in this three-bedroom home within walking distance of Gladstone Park Shopping Centre. In fact, this interest saw the SOLD sign go up well before the planned auction at $710,000.

Gladstone Park: 1 Dava Court. A quiet court location added to the appeal of this three-bedroom home which had been owned by the one family for 37 years. The lucky new owners secured the keys with a strong mid-week offer of $760,000.

Gladstone Park: 2 Archer Court. Set on the corner of this convenient court, a stone’s throw from the School of the Good Shepherd, this rendered three-bedroom home offered the added appeal of an inground pool. Buyers responded quickly, with the contracts being inked at $792,000.

Greenvale: 11 Bianca Crescent. A great opportunity for a young family looking for that extra bedroom, this modern four-bedroom single-level home near Destination Park. Competitive interest saw this one sold during the week for $725,000.

Greenvale: 18 Red Wattle Way. It felt like this near new four-bedroom home had only just hit the internet before buyers were contacting us to make offers based purely on the available photos. The sale was completed just before the weekend at an impressive $870,000.

One thing you can be sure of is that the Spring property market is now well and truly hitting its straps. But keep in mind that we’ve already lost several weeks of the season due to uncertainty about the restrictions, so if you’re planning on making a move, we’d suggest that you start getting the wheels in motion this week so you can make the most of the enormous pent-up demand that has built up in the past few months. If you need any advice or assistance, don’t hesitate to give us a call this week at Barry Plant Gladstone Park on 9330 1088.

Cheers,

Nick Pugliese - Sales Director
