If you attended any of our Open Houses this weekend, you probably noticed that the addition of some springtime sunshine and a slight increase in the temperature, (yes, we did say slight), seemed to put a spring in the step of many of the buyers we were chatting to.

We’ve certainly seen some positive signs in several of our recent sales results, including:

Greenvale: 56 Darmain Drive. Set high in ‘The Maples’ Estate where it had extra appeal for families wanting easy access to Aitken College, this brand new four-bedroom home generated plenty of interest from young families from the moment it hit the market. The SOLD sign went up more than two weeks before the scheduled auction, achieving a pleasing $740,000.

Greenvale: 15 Palmaston Drive. As we mentioned in a previous post, this near new four-bedroom single-level home featured the clever use of curved walls to emphasise a point of difference. This was another home that benefitted from strong early interest, selling for $882,500 well before this week’s scheduled auction.

Greenvale: 6 Silvan Terrace. This impressive double-storey home of five bedrooms was positioned a short walk from Kolbe Catholic College and attracted good interest from upgrading local families. Productive mid-week negotiations saw the keys change hands at $1.175 million.
