They may still be counting votes in a number of electorates around our nation, but the home buyers in the City of Hume voted with their feet this week as our team at Barry Plant Gladstone Park was able to achieve several outstanding sales results, ranging from the first home buyer market through to the million dollar-plus market.

Among our more recent results were:

Greenvale: 11 Ballymena Street. Offered on the market for the first time since it was built, this stately double-storey four-bedroom, two-bathroom home made the most of its elevated position to capture impressive views over the surrounding hills and parks. Set on a generous block of around 664sqm dotted with well established palm trees, this striking home achieved a pleasing seven-figure sale immediately after the auction.

Greenvale: 4 Boswell Court. Set in a quiet cul-de-sac near Greenvale Secondary College, this striking home made an immediate impression on buyers with its Tudor-style front façade and sparkling swimming pool. Offering five bedrooms and a study, four bathrooms and garaging for four cars, this property generated such strong interest that the SOLD sign went up in the week prior to the auction as a result of a convincing early offer of $1.7 million. As you can see in the photo, our vendors were more than happy with the result.

Westmeadows: 10 Swan Street. Being located within easy reach of abundant parkland, transport and shops, it was no surprise that this elevated four-bedroom home drew immediate interest from several young families in the area as soon as it hit the market. A strong mid-week sale was negotiated as a result.

The good news for anyone planning on selling in the City of Hume is that the outlook for the next month at least seems very positive, with buyers showing genuine confidence in the market. So if you’d like to discuss your timing options, or to simply get an update on what your property could achieve in the current market conditions, feel free to give us a call at Barry Plant Gladstone Park on 9330 1088.
