Strong results confirm latest price data
The high level of buyer confidence in the property market in the City of Hume was evident once again this week, with a strong sale being achieved at the auction of a classic Tudor-style home in the highly regarded Shannon Rise Estate.
This eye-catching four-bedroom home at 43 Kirkham Drive, Greenvale, adjoining the Yuroke Creek Reserve, attracted competitive interest from four bidders, two of which were bidding online. In fact, one of the bidders was competing from their car whilst on their way to a wedding…amazing what the digital age has enabled us to do, isn’t it!?
As you can see from the photo, it was smiles all round when this distinctive property was sold under the hammer for $795,000.
Importantly, results like these confirm what we have been seeing in the latest market statistics from the REIV. Their Quarterly median property data for the March quarter just ended showed that property in the City of Hume has continued to show impressive price growth over the past year.
