Once again this week we’ve seen further proof of just how strong the property market is in the City of Hume, with two outstanding results being achieved, one at auction, and one that saw the SOLD sign go up before the auctioneer could exercise his vocal chords.

Importantly for anyone considering selling in the City of Hume, both of this week’s results were achieved after strong competitive interest from multiple buyers.

The first of this week’s highlights involved a well presented one-owner home in Sandham Road, Westmeadows. Offering four bedrooms, a good-sized rear garden and close proximity to many amenities, this property attracted the interest of multiple first home buyers and investors. Five bidders fought it out on the day, pushing the price to a remarkable $591,000, which was well above expectations. As you can see from the photo, everyone seemed very satisfied with the result.

Another result that reinforces the strength of the property market in the City of Hume involved a vacant block of land of around 375sqm in Greenvale’s boutique Crestwood Estate. Featuring a 14-metre frontage, the level rectangular block in Providence Road was sold to a young couple who are looking forward to building their future family home in this up and coming area.

One good sign for buyers in the City of Hume is that we are starting to see some positive signs of increasing listing activity as we head towards Spring. For example, if you keep your eye on our social media pages or website this coming week, we will be launching the campaigns for some outstanding properties including THREE prestige homes in sought-after Attwood, and a budget-beating first home opportunity in Westmeadows
