We’ve seen that happening regularly throughout 2023 here at Barry Plant Gladstone Park, but two of our most recent sales have provided excellent examples of this.

The first, of course, was this week’s auction of a four-bedroom, two-bathroom single-level home on around 844sqm of land in the heart of old Greenvale. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with Greenvale Secondary College around the corner and abundant parkland nearby, 26 Erskine Court enjoyed a competitive auction with three bidders raising their hands, and several others watching on without getting the chance to compete. The gavel eventually fell at $900,000, exceeding our happy vendor’s reserve.

The other result involved an impressive four-bedroom home overlooking the parkland along Moonee Ponds Creek at 201 Johnstone Street, Westmeadows (pictured). This sale was another of our recent results that were completed well before its scheduled auction, with the contracts being inked at $990,000.

As you can see from the photo, the successful buyers were thrilled to have secured their next home, whilst our vendors were equally happy to have achieved such a strong sale within a week of their property hitting the market. That’s what we call “a win/win result”!
