32 Sales. Barry Plant Eastern Group Leading the Way
The second week of spring has delivered encouraging results across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, with Barry Plant Eastern Group recording 32 reported sales*.
There are signs the market is showing better momentum.
Buyer activity has improved, we’re seeing solid attendance at open homes, competitive bidding at auctions and buyers prepared to make decisions when the right property comes to market.
This follows our solid results from August, where Barry Plant Eastern Group recorded 84 sales in 30 days. While we remain measured about the broader market, the level of transactions across our offices suggests buyers are active and the market is moving.
Importantly, this is still a considered and price-sensitive market. Buyers aren’t simply paying any price. They are comparing properties carefully and acting where they see genuine value.
For sellers, that makes the choice of strategy particularly important. Properties that are well-presented, priced correctly and marketed effectively are giving themselves the best opportunity to attract buyers and create competition.
Two weeks into spring, conditions appear slightly stronger, but every property and every campaign still needs to be approached individually.
