Now that Spring is officially here, quite a few homeowners in the City of Moonee Valley are trying to make informed decisions on how to time their property sale to maximise their result.

- Interest rates are now at RECORD LOWS. What’s more some experts are tipping at least one more cut before the end of 2019, and another in early 2020.
- The banking regulator, APRA, has eased restrictions on mortgage lending, making home loans easier to get and increasing buyer’s budgets as well.
- Melbourne’s recent auction clearance rates have climbed to levels not seen in almost two years.
- Attendances at our Open Houses are up substantially, as are the number of active bidders at our auctions.
- Data from Corelogic indicates that Melbourne’s median house price began rising again in the June quarter of 2019.
Of course, as we’ve mentioned before, history has shown that those vendors who sell earlier in Spring tend to achieve better results than those who leave their sale until later in the year. So now is the time to avoid being one of those people who will be nervously watching the approach of December and muttering “If only we’d made our move earlier”.
