Buyers busy across Moonee Valley

The strong buyer activity levels we’ve been reporting this Winter are showing no signs of easing as we edge closer to the official start of Spring.

Our team in Moonee Valley has continued to produce outstanding results for our vendors in all areas and price ranges, as this selection of recent sales demonstrates:

Airport West: 2/24 Coniston Avenue. This brand new three-bedroom townhouse with shops and trams at the end of the street sold at auction for $790,000.

Avondale Heights: 35/2-26 North Road. Part of the tightly held Buckley Gardens Estate, this two-bedroom villa had three bidders competing with energy at this weekend’s auction. As a result the price soared well beyond our vendor’s reserve, reaching $580,000 (pictured).

Brunswick West: 51 Shamrock Street. Three bidders made their presence felt at the auction of this classic three-bedroom home with many reminders of its 1970’s origins. The gavel fell at a pleasing $1.09 million.

Flemington: 1/30 Finsbury Street. Making the most of a prime location in the heart of Flemington, a short walk from the shops and trains, this ground floor apartment sold well before offers were due to close on a Sale by Set Date® campaign, reaching $340,000.

Maribyrnong: 8/82 Raleigh Road. This single-bedroom apartment, strategically located between Highpoint and the river, was another to achieve a strong early result using our Sale by Set Date® strategy, selling for $295,000.

Niddrie: 16 Coghlan Street. A total of five bidders fought for the keys at this week’s auction of this good looking contemporary home of four bedrooms and three bathrooms. As a result the bidding soared more than 10% above the reserve before an outstanding sale at $1.305 million was inked.
