Despite the potential distractions of this week’s State election, it was clear that a substantial number of local homebuyers were keen to secure their next home not only before the end of the year, but in some cases before we start to see the predicted drop in available stock numbers as Spring turns to Summer.

This sense of urgency saw several outstanding sales produced by our team across the City of Moonee Valley, including:

Airport West: 1/62 King Street. A favourable combination of quality finishes and low maintenance living saw this front-facing three-bedroom townhouse sold on auction day for $795,000.

Avondale Heights: 44 Doyle Street. This classic blonde brick two-bedroom home attracted so much interest for its future potential that an early offer saw the keys change hands several weeks before this the scheduled auction.

Essendon: 4/239 Pascoe Vale Road. Conveniently positioned for access to Essendon Primary School and Windy Hill, this three-bedroom townhouse was sold during the week for $880,000.

Keilor East: 31 Boardwalk Place. A prime position overlooking Valley Lake drew an immediate response when this three-bedroom townhouse hit the market. A strong sale quickly followed at $820,000.

Keilor East: 216 Milleara Road. This pristine single-owner solid brick home boasted a family-friendly location close to quality schools. A well-structured auction campaign saw this one sold on auction day.

Keilor East: 10 Talus Court. An exclusive court setting bordering the Steele Creek trails and just a short stroll from Valley Lake added to the appeal of this near new luxury home of four bedrooms and four ensuites (pictured). Productive mid-week negotiations saw the SOLD sign go up at an impressive $2.22 million!

The important thing to keep in mind is that if you need advice or assistance in putting together your property plans for the months ahead, the team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley are always happy to help. So feel free to give us a call this week on 9319 1700.
