With signs continuing to grow that the Melbourne market may have already begun levelling out over the past month or two, our team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley continued to achieve some outstanding sales results for our vendors with some sales reaching more than ten percent above our vendor’s expectations.

These results included:

Airport West: 9 Bowes Avenue. Four bidders fought it out for this potential-packed three-bedroom home on a generous block of around 736sqm near Essendon Fields. The contracts were inked at $1.046 million.

Airport West: 135 Bowes Avenue. We saw some serious competition for this expansive four-bedroom, three-bathroom home with a pool near the McNamara Avenue shops. The gavel eventually fell at an impressive $1.655 million, more than 10 per cent above out ecstatic vendor’s reserve.

Essendon: 133C Bradshaw Street. Strong early interest prior to this week’s scheduled auction saw a bid-off take place during the week for this good looking three-bedroom townhouse opposite Buckley Park. The SOLD sign went up on Thursday at $1.2 million..

Keilor East: 71 Quinn Grove. This modern three-bedroom town residence attracted interest from a mix of owner occupiers and investors, with this week’s auction eliciting $825,000.

Keilor East: 163 Sterling Drive. Cherished by the original owners for over 45 years, this four-bedroom home offered tremendous potential for a future upgrade. Four bidders fought it out at this week’s auction, resulting in a strong sale at $841,000 (pictured).

As we pointed out last week, results like these are a very positive sign for local homeowners considering making a move in the next few months. If you’d like an obligation-free chat about what your own property could achieve in the current climate, you can give the team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley a call this week on 9319 1700.
