It’s hard to believe, we know, but if you are one of the Moonee Valley residents who are yet to take your next step in your property journey, (whether that involves buying, selling or both), a glance at your calendar will confirm that we are already halfway through the Spring of 2022. That means there are now just nine weekends left before we hit Christmas and the local property market takes a short end-of-year break!

The key message if you want to make the most of the current shortage of available properties for sale in Moonee Valley and surrounding suburbs by achieving your own Spring sale is not to delay that move for much longer.

Local property owners who have made their move recently with our assistance have included:

Ascot Vale: 106/8 North Street. Making the most of a prime Ascot Vale location including having a Metro supermarket on the ground floor, this chic two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment enjoyed a satisfying mid-week sale at $725,000.

Essendon: 1/185 Buckley Street. A quiet off-market sale utilising our extensive database of registered buyers saw this single-bedroom apartment sold for $400,000 before the neighbours even knew it was on the market!

Essendon: 3B Mary Street. This eye-catching three-bedroom, two-bathroom town residence near Buckley Park attracted such strong interest that a convincing early offer of $1.085 million saw it sold prior to this week’s scheduled auction.

Keilor East: 5/127 Rachelle Road. Set privately at the rear of a boutique group of five, this beautifully renovated two-bedroom unit produced a pleasing result, selling for just under $500,000 at this week’s auction (pictured).

Keilor East: 33A The Crossway. Well screened from prying eyes at the end of a long driveway, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit located a short walk from Milleara Shopping Centre achieved a pleasing mid-week sale at $850,000.

Don’t forget, if you’d like an update on what your own property could achieve in the current Spring market, or you’d like some experienced advice on how to get your property ‘buyer ready’ in a timely manner, have a chat with the team at Barry Plant Moonee Valley this week on 9319 1700.
