A little preparation today could ensure a big 2018!

With the holiday break now just a week away, that means that many of these buyers will be starting the New Year with a burning ambition to buy as soon as possible. So, there is a huge opportunity for anyone who is considering selling in early 2018, (particularly if you’ve just purchased and need to sell in order to complete the sale).

However, if you want to ‘hit the ground running’ in January, you can save yourself a lot of heartache by attending to a few important tasks RIGHT NOW!

For example:

1. Most solicitors and conveyancers will close their offices soon, and not re-open until sometime in January.
2. Many information sources that you need to prepare your Section 32 Vendor Statement will also be impacted over the holiday period.
3. Without a completed Vendor Statement, your buyers can’t sign a contract to buy your property.
4. So, if you want to avoid frustration in January, get your Vendor Statement prepared NOW.
5. This also applies to professionally prepared Sale Contracts in case you decide to auction your property.
6. Last, but definitely not least, if you need help to finish all those little jobs around the house so that your property is ‘market ready’ in the New Year, most tradespeople will be taking holidays too. So why not get them taken care of this week?
