Buyers still finding ways to buy

This latest restriction was particularly bad news for those buyers who have already sold their existing homes and are facing tightening deadlines to find their next property before they have to move out of their current home.

Yet despite these increasing challenges, we are finding that buyers are still find ways to purchase. One of our recent sales was a prime example of this.

The property in question was a brand new two-bedroom town residence situated close to vibrant shops, cafés and transport in Newcastle Street, Preston (pictured).

Being prominently positioned at the front of a group of just five, this eye-catching home attracted interest from a mix of first-time buyers and investors who saw plenty of appeal in securing a property in this sought-after residential area.

One of the features that generated positive feedback was the ‘reverse’ floorplan with the bedrooms on the lower level and the living space upstairs. Buyers also liked the fact that the bedrooms were well separated with no adjoining walls, and the finish in the kitchen with stone bench tops and 900mm appliances. A strong mid-week sale provided further confirmation that despite all the negativity in the media at the moment, there are still buyers who want to buy.
