Massive results as Summer turns to Autumn

One of this week’s results that certainly got people talking involved a tastefully updated period home at 6 Shakespeare Avenue in Preston. A well-managed campaign attracted multiple motivated buyers, with at least four of them competing strongly at the auction, and several more getting left behind as the bidding soared to a remarkable $1.725 million. A huge result that surprised many of the locals. Including our ecstatic vendors.

Whilst not quite in such an elevated price bracket, the auction of a three-bedroom timber home at 31 Beatrice Street in Preston proved to be just as memorable for all concerned. One reason for this was the fact that the home had remained in the one family since the day it was built back in 1950’s, so there were clearly lots of memories involved in the decision to sell.

Located just off Murray Road and close to Northland Shopping Centre, parks and cafes, this charming family home offered plenty of potential for future enhancements, resulting in a competitive auction that saw the price climb all the way to $890,000 which was well above the expectations of our delighted vendor. As you can see from the photo, the result produced lots of smiles all 'round.
