Preston in the public eye again

If you thought the combination of record June rains during the week and the arrival of a long weekend would slow up the steady stream of buyers looking to purchase in the Preston area, think again!

Whilst we hadn’t scheduled any auctions today, our Open Houses were very well attended across the board with strong interest being shown by many buyers. In fact, among the 3 properties we sold today was an auction that we passed in last Saturday, with two new buyers getting involved after the auction was completed.

Indeed, it’s a sure sign that there is more demand for homes than there are home available when buyers start getting nasty when they are outbid on a particular property!

As further confirmation of the growing market awareness of the inner northern suburbs, we saw another one of our forthcoming auctions featured in the Domain section of this morning’s Age newspaper.

This time it was the ground floor apartment (pictured above) that we are marketing in the Excelsior Building on High Street that was featured in the Smart Buys section of Domain. ‘The Age’ describes it as “Part of a clever 10-year-old redevelopment”. We summed it up as “Location, Style & Sophistication”. Either way, if you’d like to find out more, 6/93-103 High Street Preston will be open for inspection this coming Thursday evening between 7 and 7.30 pm.
