Despite the inclement weather doing its best to disrupt activities today, we saw yet another example of just how strongly the property market in the Preston area is performing as the end of 2017 approaches.
The much-anticipated auction of the stunning 5-bedroom home at 20 Shakespeare Avenue in Preston proved to be every bit as exciting as everyone thought. This double-storey showpiece combined classic Californian bungalow styling with a stunning 21st century floorplan in a location that put you within a few minutes’ walk of the cafes on High Street and Plenty Road.
As you can see from the photo, this is no ordinary home. However, there were plenty of gasps and open mouths in the enormous crowd as this remarkable property set a new price record for a single home in the area, reaching a remarkable $2,035,000!
Importantly, this was not the only million-dollar sale that our team put together this week, confirming that there is still plenty of buyer activity despite that rapid approach of the end of the year.
What was once a humble, blue-collar suburb is now a very different place indeed!
