Winter kicks off on a strong note

Yes, Winter is now officially here, not that you would have had any doubts if you were listening to the rain belt down last night, or looking at the grey skies we had all day today. The important thing to remember though is just because there’s a chill in the air doesn’t mean any of the heat is going to come out of the property market.

The numbers through our Open Houses today were still very positive despite the rain, and the results we achieved today for our vendors were very pleasing across a broad range of price brackets. Three of our auctions were sold on the day, with prices ranging from just under $400,000 to the high $700,000’s and the low-mid $800,000’s.

We are also still negotiating tonight on two more potential sales in the low $400,000’s and the mid $500,000’s, so you can see just how broad the buyer demand is right now.

The simple fact is that more properties would be selling, and selling well, if there were more properties available to be sold! Stock is tight and buyers are frustrated that they don’t have more homes to look at and make offers on.

So, as we’ve mentioned a few times recently, please don’t hesitate to give us a call if you are weighing up whether to sell now or sell later. Our experienced advice is free of cost or obligation.
