Activity levels were strong again this week across the real estate market in the City of Brimbank.

Not only did the Barry Plant team in Brimbank achieve another 100 per cent auction success rate for our happy vendors, but we met up with a total of 223 buyer groups at our Open Houses this week, confirming that there has been no drop off in the level of buyer demand in our part of town.

Some of our recent results included:

Burnside: 10 O’Grady Place. Thoughtful renovations had added to the appeal of this single-level three-bedroom home in a quiet pocket of Burnside. Four bidders pushed the price to a very pleasing $620,000.

Caroline Springs: 1/10-12 Kooyong Way. This stylish townhouse surprised many with its generous space and ready access to the Lake and shops in Caroline Springs village. A strong sale was negotiated during the week.

Fraser Rise: 39 Walkside Boulevard. This newly-built single-level home attracted good interest from a mix of first time buyers and investors before the SOLD sign went up at $640,000.

Keilor Downs: 3 Poet Court. A good sized crowd turned out to watch a highly competitive auction for this single-level four-bedroom home, ideally located for a growing family between Monmia Primary School and Taylors Lakes Secondary. The fiercely contested auction produced an outstanding result at $870,000 which was well beyond expectations.

St Albans: 2/50 Douglas Avenue. Providing an excellent entry-level opportunity to get a foothold in a popular pocket of St Albans West, this modern two-bedroom unit was offered in turn-key condition and sold strongly for $410,000.

St Albans: 3/37 Pennell Avenue. Part of a brand new collection of contemporary townhouses (pictured) which have attracted plenty of attention in recent months, this compact two-bedroom unit was the last of the group to be snapped up, with competitive mid-week negotiations producing $475,000.

With results like these confirming the strength of demand in Brimbank in 2022, it’s a terrific time to be planning your own next move in the property market. So if you’d like to discuss your options, or simply just to get an update on what your property could achieve in the current market, don’t hesitate to give us a call this week at Barry Plant St Albans on 9367 7044.

Cheers,
