Falling interest rates adding to activity
The news that multiple Banks have begun lowering the interest rates on their fixed rate home loans seems to have added to the overall increase in buyer confidence that we have been reporting recently.
There is no doubt that an increasing number of home buyers are becoming more active in the City of Brimbank, as this summary of some of our most recent results confirms:
Kings Park: 7 Tremaine Avenue. A feeling of space enhanced by airy cathedral ceilings made this three-bedroom, two-bathroom home a popular choice for several first home buyers. Mid-week negotiations saw the deal completed at $593,000 (pictured).
St Albans: 4 Tintern Grove. A mix of market entrants and canny investors saw the potential in this well located three-bedroom home near Keilor Plains station. The keys changed hands at $618,000.
St Albans: 15 Orion Avenue. A prime corner block added to the possibilities of this four-bedroom home, with the sale being completed at $620,000.
Caroline Springs: 33 Victoria Way. Steps from Springlake Village and the lakeside trails, this double-storey four-bedroom home sold prior to auction for $910,000.
Delahey: 13 Young Court. Set on a generous block of around 739sqm, this four-bedroom home sold at this week’s auction for $730,000.
Fraser Rise: 57 Aspire Boulevard. This nine-year old single-level three-bedroom home in the popular Aspire Estate saw the SOLD sign go up at $680,000.
Fraser Rise: 11 Piana Road. A thoughtful design and quality finished added to the appeal of this single-level four-bedroom home, resulting in a very satisfying sale at $805,000.
Hillside: 30 Timele Drive. One of multiple recent results in this street, our auction of a vacant homesite of 532sqm produced $430,000.
Hillside: 13 Dryburgh Place. The much admired Bellevue Hill Estate saw the auction of this four-bedroom home with heritage influences score an impressive $842,000.
Hillside: 54 Wolviston Avenue. Offered for sale for the first time, this grand two-storey home with buses past the door achieved $815,000 at auction.
Hillside: 24 Gourlay Road. As you may have read during the week, our twilight auction on Wednesday of this four-bedroom home on around 6,000sqm in the Sugargum Farm Estate produced an outstanding sale at $2.154 million.
Taylors Hill: 13 Callista Circuit. Attracting strong interest from young families and investors, this three-bedroom home a short walk from the Primary School sold for $588,000.
