Clearly, the past year proved that real estate can still change hands even when our offices were locked down, so no-one should be surprised that there are still SOLD and LEASED signs going up on our boards while the rest of the industry was in holiday mode.
In fact, our dedicated team was able to put smiles on the faces of several excited vendors while others in the industry were unwrapping gifts and celebrating the arrival of the new year. These included:
Fraser Rise: 54 Aspire Boulevard. This modern single-level three-bedroom home was one of those properties which was able to achieve a strong sale in early January before the photographers had even had a chance to visit so that we could launch the property on the internet. A positive response from buyers who were already registered on our database and who took advantage of the opportunity to inspect during our Exclusive Preview period saw contracts inked this week.
Hillside: 17 John Paul Drive. Our recent run of strong results on vacant land continued with this 648 sqm homesite close to shops and services selling for a pleasing $490,000.
Hillside: 7 Lightwood Close. A child-safe cul-de-sac enjoying easy access to a choice of schools proved to be a popular position for this four-bedroom home, with a strong ‘holiday season’ sale being negotiated during the week.
St Albans: 62 Perrett Avenue. A substantial block of around 743 sqm added to the appeal of this three-bedroom home near Churchill Reserve. Productive mid-week negotiations saw the SOLD sign go up at $660,000.
Taylors Lakes: 29 Barbary Crescent. Ideally positioned for a young family with the pre-school and Primary School both within a short walk, this four-bedroom home (pictured) was another example of the value of utilising our extensive database of registered buyers prior to a full launch in the real estate portals. A very satisfying sale at $830,000 was the result.
