The Reserve Bank may have taken the decision to raise official interest rates again, and Mother Nature may have decided to add a distinctly wintery flavour to our Autumn this week, but the home buyers of Melbourne’s north-west continued to demonstrate their confidence in the local property market.

Attendances at our Open Houses remained strong, as did the sales results for many of our vendors through a variety of different marketing methods.

They included:

Albion: 5/14 Ridley Street. The synergy between multiple Barry Plant offices was obvious when this updated two-bedroom unit situated a short walk from Sunshine Market achieved a strong mid-week result.

Braybrook: 1/4 Riley Court. An excellent effort by our colleagues in our Sunshine office saw this four-bedroom street-front townhouse achieve $830,000 during the week.

Delahey: 11 Lemco Walk. Productive mid-week negotiations resulted in this three-bedroom home in a quiet court setting finding new owners at $590,000.

Delahey: 9 Lemco Walk: It was a busy week in this peaceful cul-de-sac, with a tastefully renovated three-bedroom home being sold just after auction for $725,000.

St Albans: 1/14 Bernbanks Avenue. Renovations that focused on clean-cut contemporary living add1ed to the appeal of this three-bedroom home on a subdivided block. The deal was completed in a very short period of time.

St Albans: 239 Main Road East. A prominent position a short walk from St Albans Secondary College added to the possibilities offered by this three-bedroom home. Competitive buyer interest did the rest.

St Albans: 48 Atheldene Drive. This well maintained three-bedroom, two-bathroom home attracted strong interest from several young families before the keys changed hands at $640,000.

Sydenham: 541-547 Melton Highway. More buyer activity in this appealing group of new residences near Watergardens resulted in the SOLD sign going up on a three-bedroom, two-bathroom townhouse after the contracts were inked at $575,000.

As you can see, the Autumn market in our part of Melbourne continues to generate consistent demand from a solid pool of motivated buyers, so if you are considering making the next move in your property journey, you can access experienced, cutting edge advice from the team at Barry Plant Taylors Lakes by giving us a call this week on 9390 8333.
