Another 100pc result confirms market upside

If you’ve attended any of our auctions this Spring you’ll be aware that we have been marketing a number of different types of property in a variety of suburbs, but some things have remained remarkably similar in all of these transactions. We are seeing consistently strong attendances, including a high number of motivated buyers making bids. Our auction this week of a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Greensborough was a case in point.

Set in a leafy pocket near Elder Street Reserve, 44 Warralong Avenue was a potential-packed family home that drew strong enquiry levels from first home buyers, young families, property investors and keen renovators alike.

In the end there were six separate bidders who raised their hands to compete for the chance to join this friendly family neighbourhood, placing a total of around 34 bids before the gavel fell, exceeding our happy vendors’ reserve in the process.

Our winning bidders were a young family with three excited children who are looking forward to moving in the near future. As you can see from the photo, it was an exciting day for all the families involved.

To be frank, there really is only one area of concern for local homeowners planning a sale, and that’s timing. The simple fact is that there is not a lot of the year left, but there are clearly lots of keen buyers who are yet to secure their next home, (just ask the five losing bidders from this week’s auction)!
