WHAT'S A PROPERTY ALERT?
Instead of manually searching every day, you tell us what you’re looking for, and we notify you when matching properties are listed.
HOW DO I CREATE A PROPERTY ALERT?
To receive instant notifications for new listings, simply perform a search for your preferred area and criteria. Once the results appear, click the "Make an Alert" button at the top of the page. Once you have confirmed your Alert, our system will monitor the market for you and send an email when properties are listed that match your requirements.
CAN I SET UP MORE THAN ONE PROPERTY ALERT?
Yes, you can create multiple Property Alerts for different search criteria. For example, you might set up an "Instant Alert" for 3-bedroom family homes in Manningham, and a separate alert for investment apartments in the CBD. Our system will monitor both independently and notify you the moment a property matching either criteria becomes available.
HOW DO I SAVE A SEARCH?
It’s simple. Once you have applied your desired filters (such as suburb, price, and property type), select "Favourite Search" at the top of the results page. To revisit your search later, just ensure you are logged in and head to "My Account" - your personalised dashboard where you can access all your saved searches with a single click.
CAN I SAVE MORE THAN ONE SEARCH?
Absolutely. If you are looking for a family home in one suburb and an investment unit in another, you can set up multiple saved searches with different criteria.
HOW DO I STOP RECEIVING ALERTS?
You are in full control. You can pause specific alerts or unsubscribe entirely via your dashboard, or you can unsubscribe via the email notification. To access your dashboard you will need to have an existing account and be logged in.
IS MY DATA SECURE?
Yes. We take your privacy seriously. Your information is used strictly to provide you with property updates and a personalised experience on the Barry Plant website. We do not sell your data to third parties.
