<p>Waterways is a suburban area in Melbourne&#x27;s south, 25 kilometres south of the city centre. It is located immediately east of Mordialloc and was formerly a housing development. It is the only neighbourhood in Australia that is 20% parks and 40% water. Neighbouring suburbs include Aspendale Gardens, Keysborough and Mordialloc.</p><p>The site of the Waterways suburb is environmentally sensitive since it is immediately between two conservation areas, Braeside Park and the Edithvale-Seaford Wetlands.
