Cranbourne East has become a really family orientated suburb and the locals will tell you they love it!
Cranbourne East is home to Private school, Casey Grammar, Chisholm TAFE and the newer Cranbourne East P-12 school.
There is good public transport, bus services and trains to the city from Cranbourne station (only a few minutes away). A new local shopping centre is home to Aldi, Woolworths, cafes, medical centre and a pharmacy, while the main Cranbourne Park Shopping Centre has dozens of big stores like Target, Kmart and Coles which is approximately only a short distance away.
A draft development plan was released in 2008, planning to develop available land within the suburb and the neighbouring Clyde North. The plan includes Parkland, housing, and a small industrial area. The division began in 2008 and is well underway including the Cascades on Clyde estate. New schools, childcare centres and supermarkets have been popping up everywhere as the development of the suburb progresses.
