About Narre Warren

Narre Warren is a fast-growing, family-focused area about 40kms south-east of the city. It’s multicultural, with many sporting facilities, parks with good bike/ walking paths and, for the shoppers, there is Fountain Gate shopping centre. It’s also well positioned for access to both the Dandenong Ranges and Frankston’s beaches.

From a small town established next to a railway line to the bustling township it is today, Narre Warren has grown to become one of the region’s most sought-after, family-friendly locales.

Many of the town’s original residents were pastoralists, with the heavy black soil proving perfect growing conditions for potatoes and other crops. Throughout the decades, the township has continued to grow with the past 10-years seeing a burst in infrastructure works to support the booming population.

Narre Warren benefits from the extension of the Monash Freeway and great transport links that have seen more and more families move to the area.

Excellent shopping at the huge Fountain Gate Shopping Centre, a wide range of dining options, access to sporting facilities, pretty parklands and a range of schools all make this an attractive place to call home. While the award winning Bunjil complex is a community hub and entertainment precinct second to none.

Narre Warren is conveniently located just 35kms from the city CBD and within easy reach of both the Dandenong Ranges and Frankston’s beaches, so residents never need to travel far to access anything they could possibly need.

Throughout its period of fast growth from a rural town to sought-after suburb, Narre Warren has seen its tree-lined streets fill with large, contemporary homes or neat units with good-sized gardens; all perfectly suited to the modern family of all ages. Small, low-maintenance units and stylish new townhouses are fast becoming more common, expanding the suburb’s range of housing and creating homes perfect for downsizers and investors.
