Frankston South is located 43km south-east of Melbourne's CBD.

Rich in facilities, it’s close to the beach, in easy reach to freeways, public transport, schools, parks, shops, and right on the doorstep of the Mornington Peninsula, Frankston South designed for ideal living.

Spend the day laying on the beach, taking in the views from Olivers Hill lookout, picnicking in one of the many reserves and parks or head to Frankston Golf Club to occupy an afternoon.

Frankston South falls within its catchment area, making it a highly desirable location for families. Schools in the area include Derinya Primary School, Woodleigh School, Mount Erin Secondary College and most notably, Frankston High School which is regarded highly as one of the most reputable in Victoria.

Whilst there are no major Shopping centres or Hospitals or Train Stations within the suburb itself, its within close proximity to Frankston CBD and neighbouring suburbs like Mt Eliza. There are some small strip shops throughout the suburb and a couple of supermarkets for your everyday needs. There are bus services throughout the area connecting you with trains and the Nepean Hwy and Moorooduc Hwy.
