Carnegie is approximately 12km south-east of Melbournes CBD between Caulfield and Murrumbeena.

Carnegie is well serviced by public transport, with a tram line, 2 train stations and ample buses getting you into the city quickly or you can drive into the city in about 15 minutes via the M1 and Princes Highway.

The suburb's main shopping precinct is popular ‘eat street’ along Koornang Road with a blend of international food and culture.

Other attractions nearby are the Carnegie Swim Centre, Caulfield Racecourse is less than 10 minutes away and multiple parks and playgrounds in the area as well.
